I love Fall

It is officially fall when its so cold out you have to burn a fire but last night Devon was lazy and turned on our furnace. Its ok tho our house was still warm. I love our new home and I love my husband!

Tina and Bett came to visit

Tina and Bett came to visit on Wednesday and we all had such a great time seeing them! They don't come up nearly enough. Although we don't go down there either. Wish we had more $ to travel! Well any ways we had great time with them.

New Job!

I quit my job thinking I had a better one and instead it ended up being telemarketing and I quit that place 3 days after I started. I am sorry but i just can't lie and sell crap at the same time. Any who so I was looking for a job for like 3 days and then had three interviews and I ended up getting another screen printing job and but printing shirt and apparel. I love it it is my 4th day here and it is hard and challenging and i love it! It is for Kimmel athletic and is so nice here very laid back environment heck i wore flip floops to work!

Week update

So now last friday but the one before that I quit my job because I found a new one that paid $1 more hourly so started there monday and quit there wednesday…. I hated it and wasn't sure what that place was all about but guess what it was telemarketing and I couldn't do. I am sorry but i can't lie and sell at the same time.

So I have been out job hunting for the last few days, found 3 potential jobs but one is house cleaning and if you know my family, you'd know why i don't want to do that. Now i am down to two. One is a home decor store only open on thursdays and Saturdays which is my favorite store. and the other is a coffee shop. I really want to do that again but the boss is kind of A.D.D so we will see. I don't have a job yet but have got a few gigs to keep $ rolling in so we are ok for this week. I wish Dev just got like a $8.55 raise and then work would be optional for me, but that is now how life works. SO the hunt continues today. The pic is of Devs firewood truck.

Tonight

Tonight we are watching 2 boys and they are so cute however they have never stayed away from home and we are the lucky ones to break them in. The younger one 5 months did ok going to bed but the 3 year old is not taking it well. He cried for a while and then dev now is watching tv with him to get him to fall asleep but so far no luck. They are the first kids to stay the night at our new home. So fun.

Update!!!

Ok so we have been so buzzy doing little things but it all adds up! I have been slacking on my blog and sorry about that. Life is great we got married August 14th in CDA and we are having a wedding reception in our new home on November 6th. A fall themed party sounds like so much fun, getting both familys together for the first time and having great food should be great. So excited. We have done so much the past few months, finishing the house a little more each day, working a lot to make the payment and just enjoying life.

We also have been visiting a lot of friends this weekend we are going to see what it is like to have 2 boys. We are watching them for a friend one (Ryan) is 3 and the other (Matthew) is 5 months so this should be so fun. We LOVE kids and so we are both looking forward to watching them. We had a wonderful birthday season (September is our family's birthday month) and now on to planning a reception and then the holidays. So excited to have them in our new home. We can't wait. Well thats about it for now!

THE projects…..

OH how the projects never end. But they are entertaining while the time goes by. So far in our new house we have: remodeled the bathroom, painted the basement stair case, did some major landscaping and so much more. It feels so good to know that anything you do, you do it for your own house not for some landlord. Right! Well anyway we are loving our new house and can't wait to show it off. P.s We are having a civil ceremony on Aug 14th and we are getting married but don'w worry we are having a nice reception new summer to give people notice. But we are pretty much already married so why wait! Keep on loving.

YEAH

So we officially are home owners and will have keys in hand tonight at 4:45!!!!!! We are both so excited and want to give back to the amazing people that helped us through the rough times and those who were there when the water was deep. SO many people tho where do I start? : )

New!

I Got a new hair cut by one of Danielle's friends Casey! I love it. I got like 5 inches cut off. It looks cute!

Life's hardest moments.

So Devon and I have looked for a house for a LONG time since January. Let me tell you it has taken its tole. This has been the hardest thing we have ever endured. Now towards the end of things, we have both learned so many important things that we would have never know in life without this experience. What a journey, we have gone through 6 banks turning us down for: job history, credit scores, current loans, and of corse $$$! But we found a broker and she is amazing, she has bent of backwards for us, she said that she was adopting us. In the beginning we were referred to a realtor and she to is great too. We have met some really nice people along our 6 month journey, and honestly they were our inspiration and they kept us moving on. Thanks to them we are where we are now. It has been a roller coaster from day one, finding your "dream house" and loosing your dream house, finding a better home for the future and almost loosing hope and giving up. Requesting help from friends and then all the sudden things start crumbling around you and all you can think of is "why did I drag these people into this with me" but then, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, and you think "wow, it says a lot when someone is willing to risk their ass for you" and you feel good that you are including them in your adventure. We love it we hate it and we are so in love. Love is our hand to hold and our purpose for waking in the morning! Never give up on what your dream is even if there seems to be no way, if there is a will the IS a way!

B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l weekend!

Devon and I had a great weekend went to lunch with my mom and the Mustard Seed on Saturday then to Zag graduation party for one of my close friends, came home watched some shows. Went to Breakfast on Sunday then to Costco, then walmart, and home again. Went for a long walk then went 4x4ing came home made Shrimp on the Barbie and rested. The sunset was just amazing so we decided to go kayaking and took Kesha (like always) and by the end of the weekend we just did a ton of things! I love those weekends, where you can just do what you want when you want. I love my Dev and have the best days with him.

Windy day but went Kayaking anyway

kesha and I hit up Eloika Lake today. It was fun but kind crazy the waves were kinda big. We paddled for about 1 mile going with the wind and then what goes down steam must come back up so we had to go against the wind on our way home. Paddled so hadr I have massive blisters but I am not complaining because I love my hobby!

FAN LAKE!!

Kesha and I went Kayaking on Fan lake its a small (5 horse power or less) kind of lake, tucked away in the mts. We love this lake and have had some pretty fond memories made there. Not to many people know where this is at. We had a blast we were the only 2 on the lake what a peaceful adventure.

Devon and I watched the kids this weekend and went to a birthday up at Mitchems barn, cute place. Had fun visiting his family and playing with the kids. Tayla is about to hit her 2's.... you know what that means. Independent baby! No stopping her. LOL

Easter 2010

Oh man what an Easter.... Ok so funny story.... I was holding Tayla our niece and was also eating and visiting at The Olive Garden when all of the sudden she grabs the wall behind me, no big deal what I didn't know was that there was a fire alarm and that she had pulled it!!!!!!! Well needless to say the downtown fire dept. shows up and when we were leaving Bryce was like "cool look at all the fire men." Whoops My bad LOL

Its Finally Friday but what an eventful week.

Thank god its the weekend. We got so much stuff done and yet nothing seems like it. Oh well maybe we will work on it tomorrow..... like packing! : )

I LOVE my cousins!!!

Alex, me and Zo'e', on a walk around their park. Michele was doing something else but we all still had fun. Those girls have grow up to be such amazing young ladies and I feel privileged that I got to grow up with them. We all are so close I love them so much.

Bre's 21st birthday went to Raw for dinner.

My best friend Bre just turned 21 on Saturday but we all went to dinner at her work Raw (sushi restaurant) last night. It was so much fun and good food to. Of course interesting drinks as well.

My Tayla bug

This weekend Dev and I watched his niece and nephew Tayla and Bryce. They are 1 1/2 and 5 years old. Boy are they funny Bryce is a talker and Tayla is learning slowly and I can tell she to will be jabber box just like her brother. But we love them both so much. These kids grow up so fast you just take everyday as it is and embrace each moment.

My 20th birthday!

What a great weekend! Dev and I went to Franks for breakfast, then went shopping and just had a fantastic Saturday. Came home cleaned the house then around 6 pm some friends stated showing up and Dev and Conner (his best friend) lit the fire and on with the night life! Had a great time with all of them. Thanks everyone for coming and celebrating. Sunday went to town for a few things then came home took the best nap ever, picture this...... the rain lightly falling on a medal roof, around 50 degrees and a nice warm bed with two big dogs snuggling with you! Loved it. Then us and ALL the family went to Pizza Factory for a get together! It went pretty good I suppose.

Helping hands

Dev and I are still on the hunt for our dream place everyday I feel as if we are getting closer tho. The more people I talk to the more info I find out and the more I know about scams and different things about buying a home that you really don't even think about. Or at least I didn't. My boss's wife is now on the hunt for us to and we are so great full for all the help. Thanks everyone for lending a hand!

Busy weekend ahead!

We are going house hunting again for the 4th weekend in a row except this time we have a plan and a map so we are excited! Hopefully we find our dream home! Saturday we are doing some pruning for me bosses trees and then going to my car dealership to "talk business" and get some $$ situations worked out, then from there we are doing drive by's on the homes we like. We have no time anymore it seems like working 40+ hours a week is hard. They don't teach you that in high school. LOL

So good with kids

This last Sunday we all went to the park and enjoyed the warm sunshine! I know that Dev and Tayla had fun going down the slide and this picture is one of my favorites. They are just so cute together.

Better day anyway

Woke up and got ready for the day, Dev and I hit up all the banks and found out some interesting info and I just want to say we know a lot more than we started out the day knowing! I am so excited its finally going to happen. We might be buying a home this year and its so neat knowing what the next step is on life instead of just rolling on everyday with the same old routine. We are so excited know we just have to save $3000 in three months!!!!

Well I finally had a little time for some scrap booking. I really just like how simple it is. Of course it has my Dev in it to and that I love the most!

What a day

So Dev and I are looking to buy our first home this year, there are a few problems but we are trying to work them out. We wanted to go for a "house hunting" drive today... and it was so much fun. We started out in Mead and ended up in the Valley (where we both work). The day was so terrific, the sun shining and the warmth was great. We looked at every single For Sale sign on like 2 really long roads. But only found 2 real nice places. One a piece of land with nothing on it but beautiful view, and the second was the picture. Amazing need I say more, it is everything we want and it may look weird but it is a pole building (which is way less than a stick built) and it has a great view, it has a well, power, good drive way, away but not to far from reality, it is half shop and half house. But there is still land to build a huge house it you wanted it. Its great but now comes the hard stuff 1) finding out how much or if the owner even wants to sell in this economy, 2) how much we end up getting approved for, 3) All the other problems that come with a big step in life. We had a great day and got my man excited to move up in life!

Bowl and Pitcher

Devon, Michele, Zoe and I went to Bowl and Pitcher in Riverside State Park and went hiking. It was such a beautiful day and the river was running strong. I love good days like that spending it with the ones you love.

Danielle and Aiden

Danielle and family came over friday for Spaghetti and salad. It was so good to see them and chat for a few hours. Took some cute pictures of mom and baby!

Today is...

Raining here in Spokane, not to warm either. Yesterday and today ran a $170,000 machine at work.... why they chose me who knows. lol No I catch on to things pretty fast so that probably why. The day is going fast and can't wait to go home and see my DEV.

Snowmobiling

Dev and I went to Tacoma Creek in USK WA today on Valentines day yes, and we did some sweet riding. We both had so much fun, I am glad we went even tho the weather wasn't the greatest. I got some pretty good pics and had a nice day just spending it with the one i love.

Kayaking

It was so sunny today I just had to try out my new kayak. Its a 2010 Emotions kayak and its lime green, pretty sweet. I love it now I just need to find some good locations to go. I know a few good spots but always could know more.

AbbyLove

My Abby finally got fixed. Now for the healing time, she bled more than usual and wet the her bed but the vet said she might do that. Other than that she is doing good a bit tired and all went well. Happy to have her home and have that done and out of the way. We love her!

This Wednesday...

Today is going pretty good. But am sad, I have to get my dog Abby fixed and don't like to hurt animals. However it is something I have to do. Well I am at work now and then going to go home and make chicken breasts over wild rice with a cream of mushroom sauce, sound good I am getting hungary.

Devon

I am so lucky to have such a great man. He has a great job that he loves, no bad habits, responsible and all around sweet man. Would do anything for the ones he loves! I love this man with all my heart. Thank you god for blessing me with his love!

Mom

Had a mother daughter day... we went shopping, shopping, shopping and then more shopping! We also went to lunch at Chili's and then over to Riverfront park and took a brisk walk. We froze but got some cute pictures! I love my mom she is the happiest person I know always has a smile!

Wow we just drove by the worst accident... it was a van camper tipped over but thats not all they were also hauling a bobcat and I think there was a fatality. I saw channel 6 news there. Hope all is ok.

Bath time for these stinky dogs!

Kesha used to hate bath time but I think she is coming around. Today she and Abby went and rolled around in who knows what but whatever it was, it smelled like fish! It reeked! So when I told her to go get in the bath, she did. I don't think she liked that smell either! But with Abby its a different story... she HATES the bath but loves the bathroom. Crazy I know but she will always be in there until you say "come on Abby" then she hits the floor running. Silly dog... In conclusion they BOTH got a nice bath and now smell normal again!

So again really foggy on the way to work today but made it just fine. I really just can't wait till tomorrow. My mom and I are going shopping in saturday can't wait I love my mom days.

Good morning! On my way to work, had a bad hair day but will live. The road are real foggy and kinda slick so be careful. That however is way better than 5 feet of snow. Have a great day

Goal of the month

So I am trying to do one or two blogs a day on my way to work while my Dev drives its so nice to be drove now that he is back to work after that long winter. lol But that is my goal so we will see if I can do it.

First Lake Trip of 2010

January 30 2010 I went for a very brisk bike ride down about 1 mile from my home to Eloika Lake to see if it was still froze over. And yes it was for the most part. Not Kayak season yet. So I decided to take some pictures because the view was breath taking. Here are some of the many pictures that I took. I loved how they turned out!

The Waterfalls at Horseshoe lake in Elk WA. A peaceful place to swim, kayak, float or just hangout. Its the best place you HAVE to visit. It should be on your bucket list
